Spooned & Spotted: Kashi Honey Cinnamon & Berry Crumble Superfood Combos

Sorry, I don’t usually blog after the fact, but I tweeted this within 64 seconds of it appearing in my peripherals at Meijer.

The caption says it all: this discovery has my perpetually-stuck-in-a-’90s-grade-school-lunchroom stomach a-rumblin’. If Krave is king of chocolate stuffed pillows and Hidden Treasures are the lost emperors of fruit stuffed pillows, it looks like Kashi’s Uncrunchables will fall somewhere in between.

Expect a review (and potentially a wistful elegy for Bosco Breadsticks) coming soon.

    • I’m not sure but i can imagine what he would say 😉
And that all depends on the shell of those little squares.

If they are more like mini wheats (soak up some milk and get a bit soggy, while joining forces with the milk to create great endmilk) and not like krave cereal that never really combines with the milk and is just for snacking: he’ll like them. I mean he loves Mini Wheats filled with raisins 😉

I never had puffins or Kashi Cinnamon French Toast cereal, but they look more like filled version of those two, than another krave knock-off. So if both are behaving different in milk than krave, i’m veeeeeerrrry curious about the taste 🙂

’cause i’m with Gabe here and in Team “i hate krave cereal) and i hope they are different.
That’s btw what i also hope for the new cinnamon toast crunch crazy crunch we got here in germany:

i so hope they are not like krave cereal. xD

      CHEERS!

  1. Awesome. About 10 months back I was asked to take a survey as part of the Kashi Consumer Panel for this cereal. Standard affair, what do you like about this, don’t like about that, packaging opinions, etc. The final product looks really good. Now, to get my hands on a box for my 8 year old.

    /salute
