News: Wonderworks Keto Friendly Cereal | Chocolate, Peanut Butter, & Cinnamon

New Wonderworks Keto Friendly Cereal from General Mills Boxes

If you follow cereal news, one thing you quickly learn is that January is the December of joyous new breakfast tidings. For whatever reason, cereal companies love to ring in the New Year by announcing a dozen or more products in one bulk batch. This usually leaves my poor fingers aching as I try to cover everything in one mega post, but thankfully—at least for General Mills’ January announcement—I’ve covered just about everything already.

Everything but the above three cereals—probably the only three in General Mills’ Class of ’21 that won’t sabotage your Resolution.

As for Wonderworks Keto Friendly Cereal, I’ll admit I don’t have the highest expectations—probably thanks to my sugary cereal-steeped sweet tooth, I’ve reviewed my share of debatably disagreeable keto cereals. Let’s just say it’s not a great sign when the box has to write the word ‘Delicious!’ right over the name.

That said, without knowing Wonderworks Cereal’s full ingredients list, I can’t predict what it’ll really taste like. All I know is that choosing Chocolate, Peanut Butter, and Cinnamon to lead General Mills’ keto crusade seems like a wise decision. Every time I’ve seen an adult cereal attempt frosted or fruity cereals, it just doesn’t work. These three are much easier to get right, and peanut butter is enough of a cereal aisle rarity to raise some interested eyebrows.

Though it might help the wellness marketing if General Mills turned Wonderworks into a bar before making it a cereal.

  1. They arent really at the good to be honest. Just GM trying to hop on the keto bandwagon and try to pull consumers from supporting smaller companies. I was excited to see them in my local Walmart but then disappointed to see that when I pulled them off the shelf that they were in fact a big brand box company rather than Walmart finally supporting smaller companies.

They are very dry and powdery and lack much of the flavor they claim to be. Skip these and go with many of the other good keto only brands already out there.
